ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
This webinar is designed to talk students with ADHD through the strategy and tactics to manage the SAT and ACT.
Both the SAT and ACT are standardized tests, meaning they follow a very formulaic approach. For students with ADHD, this means you can anticipate many of the questions in advance, and be prepared for most eventualities. In this class, I’ll show students how to answer the most common types of questions, and how to think differently about the test to be more efficient with their answering.
We’ll also cover time management, which is the biggest problem for students with ADHD on the test. I’ll show students how to work smart, not hard, which also diminishes stress and test anxiety.
This class is designed for Juniors and Seniors who are taking the SAT or the ACT and have ADHD/ADD or a related Learning Difference. It is also suitable for those who teach or coach those students.
The core content of the webinar includes:
Understanding the test
General test-taking strategy
Managing test anxiety
Can't join us for the live webinar? If you sign up, we will give you access to a recorded version, as well as any handouts/resources used during the session.
