About Andy

Andy holds master's degrees from both Oxford and Edinburgh Universities. He has been tutoring full-time since 2010. After moving to Seattle from the U.K. in 2015, he founded a tutoring agency in Seattle's University District. He specializes in exam technique and SAT/ACT strategies.

Andy has extensive experience working with students with dyslexia, ADHD and other learning differences. In addition to providing subject-matter knowledge, his lessons empower students and boost their confidence, both key components to academic success.

Andy’s courses are tailored towards the needs of students who don’t benefit fully from a typical classroom environment. The small class size allows for greater individual attention, and students benefit from teaching that’s tailored to their unique needs. By building students’ confidence, they are challenged to push themselves; Andy’s enthusiasm and passion lead students to enjoy learning.
